Registered Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern
Do you identify as a Lonewolf? Have you ever felt-or do you currently feel-that you do not quite fit in? Has your family, your peers, or society ever made you feel that you cannot express your authentic self? Do you sometimes feel invisible? Are you an artist or a uniquely gifted individual whose talents have long gone unnoticed? Have you struggled with anxiety, addiction, or substance use, or found it difficult to manage life’s most stressful moments? Do you identify as neurodiverse or feel that your mind functions differently from others?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, please know that you are not alone and that healing and growth are possible. I am here to walk beside you on your journey toward wellness, self-acceptance, and authentic self-expression. As a mental health professional grounded in empathy, compassion, and unconditional positive regard, it is my privilege to hear you, see you, and validate your experiences.
I work with individuals, helping each patient navigate their unique challenges and cultivate a healthier, more fulfilling life. In individual therapy, I employ person-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and creative modalities, including writing and art-based therapies, to help patients explore emotions, express themselves creatively, recognize patterns of thought and behavior, and develop practical strategies for coping and growth. I provide faith-based counseling for patients who desire a spiritual framework and work with marginalized populations, including LGBTQ+ individuals, supporting them in building acceptance, resilience, and empowerment.
I also work with couples and families, utilizing the Gottman Method to enhance communication, strengthen connection, and resolve conflict effectively. These sessions provide patients with structured tools and insights to navigate relational challenges and cultivate more meaningful, supportive relationships.
Together, we establish meaningful, achievable goals and develop a personalized therapeutic plan that honors your voice, leverages your strengths, and fosters perseverance.
