Graduate Practicum Intern
Sometimes life feels heavier than expected. You may find yourself facing challenges you didn't see coming or feeling stuck in patterns you wish you could change. Phoebe's goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and truly heard-a place where you can explore your experiences without judgment and at your own pace.
As a graduate student beginning her practicum and internship, Phoebe works from an integrative approach that blends multiple theoretical lenses, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Gestalt Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and other behavioral therapy techniques. She believes there is no one-size-fits-all in counseling. Together with her clients, she strives to find the tools and strategies that fit their unique needs and goals.
Phoebe is deeply interested in multicultural perspectives and believes that backgrounds, cultures, and personal stories shape how people see the world. She strives to honor and understand her clients' experiences while helping them build the life they are working hard to achieve and maintain. She sees therapy as a partnership and aims to be a stepping stone-to help clients help themselves-so they can move toward meaningful, lasting change.
Phoebe believes everyone deserves a life that feels fulfilling and authentic. In her work, clients can expect warmth, compassion, and a comfortable, non-judgmental space to grow.
