Kalah is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern who brings empathy, respect, and a genuine passion for helping others into every session. She understands that life can be complicated, especially for individuals and families navigating tough times, and she's here to walk alongside you through it.
Kalah holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Services from Southern New Hampshire University and a Master's in Social Work from the University of South Florida. She is trauma-informed andACT (Adoption Competency Training) certified, with a strong background in supporting individuals and families impacted by trauma.
She especially enjoys working with teenagers, adults, and families, helping them strengthen relationships, improve communication, and create more harmony at home. Kalah believes in the healing power of creativity and often weaves art and music into therapy to help clients express themselves in ways that feel natural and meaningful.
Her approach draws from several evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Attachment-Based Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. No matter the method, Kalah's priority is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to grow.
