Do you feel alone in the world? Are you carrying pain that feels too heavy to bear by yourself? Are you searching for a safe space to be your true self? Many people feel this way, and you are not alone. By seeking help, you are taking an important step toward a better life. I want to meet you where you are, and I am here for YOU.
I use a person-centered therapeutic approach to create a supportive and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings freely. I am grounded in the belief that each person has the capacity for personal growth and self-improvement. As your therapist, I provide empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuine understanding to help you tap into your inner resources and strengths. Our sessions will be client-led, focusing on what is most important to you, with me acting as a compassionate guide rather than an expert directing your path. With a background in art, I also see the value in incorporating expressive arts into therapy as a creative outlet for those who desire it. My goal is to provide a safe space where you can be yourself without fear of judgment.
In addition, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help identify and change negative thought patterns that contribute to distress. By integrating mindfulness into our sessions, I assist you in managing intense emotions, developing healthy coping skills, and improving relationships. I also incorporate principles from Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you gain a deeper understanding of your inner world. I view the mind as being composed of different “parts,” each with its own perspective, feelings, and motivations. Sometimes, these parts can be in conflict, leading to feelings of being stuck or overwhelmed. Together, we will work to identify and understand each part, fostering a compassionate relationship with all aspects of yourself. This process aims to bring greater harmony and balance within, promoting overall emotional well-being and self-awareness.
No matter what challenges you are facing, we will collaborate to develop strategies and goals that help you connect with yourself and build your life to what you want it to look like. You don’t have to face the challenges of life alone.
