As a therapist, I utilize person-centered therapy as my main technique and approach. I favor this theoretical framework because it puts the client in control of their destiny as I work in tandem with them for guidance and emotional support. Together, we will work on attainable goals with a therapeutic plan that will provide you with an effective blueprint for high achievement and success.
Stefania is a Registered Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida and earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Stefania pursued her undergraduate studies from SUNY Empire State College in New York, New York, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her associate’s degree in Human Development. Stefania is also a National Certified Recovery Coach with ten years of experience working with individuals and families involved in active addiction and/or recovery. Since Stefania has over a decade in recovery herself, she developed a passion for working with this demographic. In addition to being a successful therapist and recovery coach, Stefania is a performing arts director, and has been an educator for ten years, concentrating in special education, and the subject matter of English and Literature, as well as the subject matter of psychology-teaching in both a middle school and high school setting. Her resume includes working for the New York City Department of Education for eight years before she decided to relocate to the state of Florida. Stefania currently teaches high school English and American Literature at a private school in addition to providing psychotherapy at Breaking Free Services. Stefania prides herself on being a divergent artist with a continued thirst for knowledge, thus she is currently pursuing her second master’s degree, an MFA in Creative Writing at Liberty University, while also working towards licensure as a psychotherapist.
