Graduate Practicum Intern
Have you felt your breathing become shallow and your chest start to ache? Have you noticed your mind swarming with all your past traumas, mistakes, faults, flaws, and you’re feeling like, “I can’t do this”? Sometimes the hardest thing to do is explain what’s going on when you do not quite know what’s going on yourself.
Your mental health is important. I’m here to help you give yourself permission to find yourself again and not feel guilty for taking the time to do so. As your therapist, I want to create a safe and comfortable environment for you to start feeling heard, no matter what chapter of life you are in. You can start working through what’s holding you back from healing and becoming your most authentic
self. My approaches are cognitive behavior therapy with a mindfulness-based style, which will help us work together to diminish those negative thoughts and feelings and replace them with positive coping skills and progressive goals. You may not be where you want to be but together we can take that first
step towards the life you envision.
