Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern

I can provide a safe place where you can be yourself and there is no judgement. We can talk about the concerns or issues that you are having in your life. We will work together to create goals and skills that you will use in your life. These goals or skills can be useful and helpful when you are stuck.
I’m a therapist who believes that each person’s story is unique—and so is the path to healing. I don’t stick to one-size-fits-all methods; instead, I tailor my approach to fit the individual in front of me. Whether you're navigating big life changes, feeling stuck, or just looking for someone to talk to, I’m here to meet you where you are. I work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, and I’m continually learning and growing in my work. Therapy with me is grounded in curiosity, care, and collaboration—we’ll figure it out together.
Michaela just graduated with her Master of Arts in Clinical mental health counseling from Webster University and is currently applying to become a Registered Intern in the state of Florida. Michaela has her bachelor’s degree in educational studies and community leadership from St. Petersburg College. She is a proud member of the American Counseling Association. She has been with Breaking Free Services through her student internship and continues as a registered intern.
