Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
Therapy is a tool that can be accessed by anyone for a many number of reasons. I am frequently asked who needs therapy or what is a good reason to seek counseling services and my answer is always the same: I believe anyone can benefit from therapy! If you want to live a happier, healthier, fuller life than therapy is for you.
You could be making a life transition and want someone to talk to. You might be questioning your career choice. You could have experienced an event that caused pain. You can be experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, or PTSD. Any and all reasons are acceptable to seek help.
As your therapist, I will provide a safe space for you as the client, and I will meet you where you are. I will utilize the therapeutic techniques that fit your specific needs. As a clinician, my main approaches include Cognitive Behavioral, Adlerian and Solution-Focused. Using those approaches, I intertwine a developmentally appropriate and attachment theory-driven lens to best fit the needs of each client. My main focus in working with all my clients is to be of service to them.
