Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
Do you feel overwhelmed by life’s stressors? Are you struggling to stay focused or complete important tasks? Are you ready to prioritize what truly matters and move past what’s holding you back?
I’m here to support you as we work together to explore your goals, values, and what brings meaning to your life. My approach is collaborative and personalized, helping you build practical skills to navigate challenges, manage emotions, and create lasting change. I strive to provide a safe, supportive space where you can grow, gain insight, and feel empowered to take control of your life.
Together, we will develop coping strategies that work for you—so you can feel more grounded, balanced, and confident in facing life’s demands. I also offer canine-assisted therapy, incorporating the presence of a trained therapy dog to help foster comfort, reduce anxiety, and enhance the therapeutic experience for clients who are interested.
Alexis uses evidence-based approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She also offers Christian counseling for clients who wish to incorporate their faith into the therapeutic process.
