“You cannot go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending”
Have you pondered your life and wondered, “How did I get here”? Perhaps you’re feeling dissatisfied with life as a result of the choices you’ve made or as a result of the choices made by others. At times, in the challenges of life, we can find ourselves wondering how to move forward and how to begin making steps in a positive direction. For many of us, we want to move forward, we want to experience joy, but we don’t know whether we can make that first step.
It helps to have someone coming alongside you, providing encouragement and direction to help you work through the challenges life brings. Whether the challenge is relational, physical, spiritual, or mental, I’m here to walk alongside and help you overcome whatever challenge you may be facing.
Working as a Registered Nurse for nearly a decade, I have helped people facing all sorts of challenges. I have sat with patients in their final moments and celebrated with them at some of their best. It is through this experience as an RN that I discovered my passion for mental health. My approach to psychotherapy includes cognitive-based techniques coupled with solution focused methods. Deep down in my core, my hope is to help each person to discover the best version of themselves as well as to support them in developing a vision for the future. I enjoy working with all populations of people and look forward to working with you along your life’s journey.
