Graduate Practicum Intern
Do you need help adjusting to a change in your personal or professional life? Do you need help with self-care strategies because you put others’ needs before your own? Remember it is important to “put your own oxygen mask on first.” We cannot care for others if we do not care for ourselves first. Do you need help establishing boundaries with people in your life? Do you ever feel taken advantage of, or like your kindness was taken for weakness? Do you work with high-risk populations or individuals experiencing crisis? Do you feel overwhelmed, like you can’t keep up? Are you interested in changing careers or pursuing new educational goals? Do you need help finding resources in your community?
If any of the above resonated with you, please know that I am here to help guide you on your journey to well-being. Together we will work collaboratively to achieve your goals. Making the decision to seek help gives you the opportunity to positively influence your future well-being. By making this decision you have chosen to take control of your mental well-being. Our mental health can have effects on our physical health causing disturbances to sleep, appetite, blood pressure, headaches, and weakened immune system, etc. Understanding how the mind affects the body can help you to better understand and regulate yourself. I look forward to the opportunity to assist you on your flight to transformation.
