Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
Do you usually handle things on your own? Do you view asking for help as a sign of weakness? Do you think that only sick people come to counseling? I’m here to bust these myths. Everyone needs to ask for help at some point – with whatever they may be struggling with. Counseling is for everyone, at every level of functioning, at every level of concern. If there’s something you want to change but can’t quite figure out – I’m here to help.
Helping my clients build confidence in their ability to embrace challenges in their life is my speciality. You don’t have to let fear of the “what-ifs” and worst case scenarios control you. Together we can cultivate the peace and build the skills you need to take your control back and live intentionally.
I teach adults, adolescents, and families how to utilize evidence-based skills that can be used wherever and whenever. My clinical approach varies based on each client’s needs, however, I incorporate components of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, and Mindfulness while utilizing a strengths-based approach. My office is a safe space for your pain, fear, vulnerability, celebrations, and success.
I look forward to the privilege of walking with you on your journey to wellness.
