MSW, Registered Clinical Social Work Intern
Does it feel like the world is on your shoulders? Maybe you’re at odds with your thoughts. Do your days feel overrun with doubt and worry? Possibly there are so many things to do and no time to do it. Does it feel as though everyone looking at you and expecting you to be the one to fix all the problems? Are you having difficulty connecting with your child or teen? I can help.
My approach is solution-focused. Let’s deal with what is happening right now, and if we need to dig deeper, we can, but at your own pace. I also include mindfulness and behavior modification techniques to assist with anxiety and stress. When working with children and teens, I believe it is important for the parent or caregiver to be actively involved in treatment as well. With that being said, what is disclosed to me is private and will not be shared unless permission is granted or there is a fear of harm. I am open-minded and non-judgmental. You are wanted and welcome to open up to me about anything and everything. Your secrets are safe with me.
Take that first step and reach out. YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Let’s talk. We can set up a consult phone call or dive right in and schedule an intake. Either way, I look forward to meeting you and helping you discover your best self.
