Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, Registered Art Therapist
Are you a strong person who has trouble asking for help? Does going to a therapist sounds scary? You are not alone, many people feel that way. I will meet you where you are at. I am here to provide you with support and guide you through difficult times. My approach is calm, kind, and with a touch of humor. I strive to create a safe space where you will feel welcome as we start a journey together. Healing takes time, I will be there to empower you through a change, learning self-compassion and non-judgmental stances. I believe it is important for anyone to feel seen, heard, and supported. In the fast paced society we live in today, it’s not often we take time for ourselves. You are worth the time and I’m here to help.
As an art therapist, I use art making in session for many reasons. Maybe you need to draw while we talk about harder topics. Or we use art to help learn healthy self-expression or even process a trauma. I tailor my art therapy techniques to each individual’s unique needs and comfort level. No need to be an artist or have any experience with art to benefit from art therapy!
