Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
It is ok to seek support for yourself and you’ve already taken a huge step in a great direction. It is not easy to make the decision to “go to therapy.” I can imagine that you pushed past your fear or uncertainty, the opinion of others, the stigmas related to counseling or maybe even your anxiousness to “try again” because you’ve sought therapeutic support in the past. Whatever your reason, you’re so brave to have begun this process and I am very proud of you for doing so!
Have you been impacted by traumatic experiences that are getting in the way of your quality of life? Have you noticed a decrease in your self-esteem? Do you question and/or doubt your ability to complete your goals? Or do you have a hard time creating goals because you don’t truly believe that you can accomplish them? Are you experiencing difficulties in your relationship with others? Have you been anxious to the point that it is interfering with your daily life? Do you have consistent and persistent negative thoughts about yourself that you don’t know how to change? Are you feeling overwhelmed by life’s challenges, struggles, twists and turns? Are you feeling stuck in “just how it is” but you also desire to move past this? Or are just feeling unbalanced but can’t quite “put your finger on” what is causing this to be so?
Therapy is a safe, welcoming and non-judgemental space for you to identify and address the pain, patterns or problems that have been weighing you down. For every client that I have the opportunity to partner with, it is my goal to: Shift Perspective, Foster Hope and Ignite the strength that radiates from within you. I can’t wait to begin our work together and to resolve the matters that are temporarily keeping you from living the authentic and hope filled life that you’re deserving of experiencing!
