Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (pending)
Are you feeling scared, lost, or overwhelmed? Perhaps you are facing difficult transitions, dealing with anxiety, struggling to have healthy relationships, or suffering from the loss of a loved one. Whatever challenges you may be facing, counseling can help you or your child find healing, growth, and empowerment.
I exude a warm and empathic presence and listen with care and understanding. I have specialized training in art therapy, and can integrate the creative process into counseling in a way that will serve your unique needs. The artistic process itself can be inherently therapeutic and also serves as a tool for self-expression and gaining deeper insight. No need to be an “artist” to benefit from art therapy!
Counseling isn’t always easy and takes courage. Yet it is so worth it. Taking steps to face the shadows will bring forth greater light, peace, and clarity. Together we will embark on a journey to increase your awareness of your thoughts, feelings, and needs to empower you to create real change in your life.
